Fire Kills was one of the first, small group projects I completed when starting Bournemouth University. Our brief included creating a piece of digital media in order to educate and entertain a targeted audience about Fire Safety.
After studying the brief and deciding on group roles, my group decided to create an interactive YouTube video aimed at students in first year accommodation. The video would start in a students bedroom and, from a first person prospective, the player would have to choose different options in order to complete the video and exit safely.
As this was one of our first projects, we did not actually have to create anything yet a proposed solution to the brief. However, this project taught me the basic key skills of working in a group, communication and organisation which are skills which will stay with me forever.
